SARAWAK SKILLS DONATES HEMODIALYSIS MACHINE TO SARAWAK GENERAL HOSPITAL TO CATER TO GROWING NUMBER OF PATIENTS

Sarawak Skills, in conjunction with its 30th Anniversary Charity Run, has donated a Hemodialysis Machine to the Sarawak General Hospital. This noble initiative aims to address the increasing demand for dialysis services in the region and support the healthcare needs of patients requiring urgent life-saving treatment.

The donation of the Hemodialysis Machine is an important part of Sarawak Skills’ ongoing commitment to give back to the community. With the growing number of patients in need of dialysis, this contribution is expected to significantly enhance the hospital’s capabilities in providing vital healthcare services.

Commenting on the aforementioned initiative, Mr. Hallman bin Sabri, Executive Director of Sarawak Skills highlighted, “We are indeed honoured to participate in this noble and timely initiative to serve the community, especially considering the rising number of patients who rely on hemodialysis for their treatment.” He added, “Sarawak Skills remains committed to supporting the health and well-being of the community and hopes that this contribution will go a long way towards assisting those in need.”

The donation was made possible through the support with several members of Sarawak Skills, partners, and companies, including Hornbill Skyways Sdn. Bhd., Wahtung Travel Service Sdn. Bhd., Sarawak Information Systems Sdn. Bhd. (SAINS), Eastern Wood Engineering Sdn. Bhd., SSR Technology, One Medicare Sdn. Bhd., Konsortium Bumi Consultants & Services Sdn. Bhd., Petroliam Nasional Berhad, Arkiskape Sdn. Bhd., Qissfa Enterprise, and TG Jasa Enterprise Sdn. Bhd.

Also present at the handover ceremony were key figures from Sarawak Skills and Sarawak General Hospital, including Mr. Mohamad Isham bin Fauzi, Chief Strategy Officer of Sarawak Skills; Mr. John Rizal Biki, Chairman of 30th Anniversary Sarawak Skills Charity Run; Dr. Alex Kim Ren Jye, Deputy Director (Medical) of Sarawak General Hospital; Dr. Laura Ngu, Nephrology Specialist of Sarawak General Hospital; Mr. Ahamady bin Lian, Chief Supervisor of Assistant Medical Officer and State Dialysis Manager of Sarawak; Madam Hafsah binti Zabidi, Manager of Biomedix Solutions Sdn. Bhd.; and Madam Charlene Lau, Business Executive of Fresenius Medical Care.
