Sarawak Skills has officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Excelerate Sdn Bhd in a strategic collaboration aimed at equipping both aspiring and current educators with essential digital skills. This partnership will empower educators to lead effectively in the rapidly evolving educational landscape and prepare the next generation of students for a digitally-driven future.
The primary objectives of the MoU are as follows. First, it aims to design and deliver training courses that will enhance workforce efficiency and leadership capabilities. Second, the collaboration seeks to provide technology solutions and consultations to industries in Sarawak. Third, both parties will work together to share updated knowledge and information, ensuring continuous growth and innovation. Lastly, they will explore opportunities to organize conferences, workshops, symposiums, training programs, seminars, and other relevant events.
Mr. Hallman bin Sabri, Executive Director of Sarawak Skills, highlighted the significance of this collaboration in shaping the future of education and workforce development. He stated, “This partnership marks an important step towards strengthening digital competencies among educators and equipping them with the tools needed to adapt to the changing demands of the education sector. Together with Excelerate Sdn Bhd, we aim to bridge the digital divide and foster a future-ready workforce.”
Mr. Andrew Pereira, Chief Executive Officer of Excelerate also commented, “We are excited to collaborate with Sarawak Skills in this initiative. By complementing their education experience with our digital skills expertise, we look forward to catalysing Sarawak’s ongoing digital transformation in areas such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, and cybersecurity.”
