Technical Training: Electrical

About The Courses

The Technical Training course on Electrical provides comprehensive instruction in electrical principles, systems, and applications, catering to individuals seeking foundational knowledge and practical skills in electrical engineering and maintenance. Designed for electricians, technicians, and engineering students, this course covers the fundamental concepts of electrical theory, circuit analysis, and electrical safety practices. Participants will learn practical skills in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance through hands-on laboratory exercises and real-world applications. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and expertise to work safely and effectively with electrical systems in various industries and applications.

Course Objective

  • Understanding Electrical Fundamentals: Develop a solid understanding of electrical principles, including voltage, current, resistance, and power, and their applications in electrical circuits and systems.
  • Electrical Circuit Analysis: Learn techniques for analyzing electrical circuits, including Ohm’s Law, Kirchhoff’s Laws, and circuit theorems, to predict and troubleshoot circuit behavior.
  • Electrical Safety Practices: Understand the importance of electrical safety and compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), lockout/tagout procedures, and safe work practices around energized equipment.
  • Electrical Installation and Wiring: Gain practical skills in electrical installation and wiring techniques, including cable sizing, conduit bending, circuit layout, and connection methods, to safely and efficiently install electrical systems.
  • Troubleshooting Electrical Systems: Develop systematic troubleshooting strategies to diagnose and repair common electrical faults and malfunctions, such as short circuits, open circuits, and voltage drops, using multimeters, circuit testers, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance: Learn preventive maintenance techniques to identify and address potential electrical issues before they escalate, including routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and testing of electrical equipment and components.
