Application Conditions

  • Aged 15 – 40 years at the time of application
  • Native of SARAWAK i.e. one of Sarawak’s mother or father
  • Gross household income ≤ RM3,860
  • For Malaysian Skills Certificate & Malaysian Skills Diploma students who register at Sarawak Skills.
  • You MUST apply for a Sarawak Foundation or Skill Development Fund Corporation (PTPK) loan for the payment of tuition fees.

SARAWAK FOUNDATION

Application Conditions

  • Aged 15 – 30 years at the time of application
  • Native of SARAWAK i.e. one of Sarawak’s mother or father
  • Application through the study institute.
    1. Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM)
      Technical Training Loan Scholarship
    2. Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM)
      Scholarship for In-Country Education Loans
  • Students need to apply as soon as possible to avoid the application being rejected / the loan not being full. 

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT FUND CORPORATION (PTPK)

Application Conditions

  • Aged 15 – 50 years at the time of application
  • Students have not reached the age of 15 at the time of application & must present a guarantor consisting of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Malaysian
  • For Malaysian Skills Certificate and Malaysian Skills Diploma students.
  • Application through the Institution of study
  • Guarantor is 21-50 years old. Meanwhile, the mother/father/legal guardian is not over 65 years old, earning ≥ RM700 except for the mother/father/legal guardian.  

Loan Amount

  • Training Fee – Maximum rate approved by PTPK
  • Cost of Living – The cost of living is up to RM600 per month.
  • Transportation Cost – RM1000 for students from Sabah & Sarawak (one-off)

Note: PTPK reserves the right to determine the approved loan amount from time to time.

Withdrawal Terms

  • Mother or father / spouse must be an EPF member.
  • Malaysian citizens or non-citizens.
  • Have savings in the account 2
  • Students are still studying Malaysian Skills Certificate Level 3 or Malaysian Skills Diploma.
  • Didn’t get any loan/sponsorship or only got a partial loan/sponsorship.
