Established in 1997 as the Sarawak Agriculture Vocational Training Institute (SAVTI) under the Department of Agriculture Sarawak, the institution was taken over by PPKS in 2005 and is now known as Sarawak Skills SAVTI. The centre specialises in vocational training in agriculture and plantation sectors, focusing on developing skilled and knowledgeable manpower to support Sarawak’s agricultural industry and economic growth.
