On 30 August 2023, Sarawak Skills, Tabuan Jaya, Kuching extended a warm welcome to officials from Curtin University Malaysia, namely Associate Professor Dr. Fidella Tiew, Director of the School of Pre-U and Continuing Education (SPACE) and Mr. Muhammad Rahman bin Sallehin, External Engagement Manager.

As part of the visit, a briefing was held to update the visitors on the latest developments at the Sarawak Skills Group of Learning Institutions, including new/upcoming training centres/institutions such as the Sarawak Skills Sri Aman Training Centre and the Advanced Automotive Technology College (AATC). During the visit, Associate Professor Dr. Fidella Tiew also shared on the courses and programmes offered by SPACE.

 

The aforementioned visit paves the way for the parties to explore joint initiatives, specifically talent development initiatives for the populace in Sarawak.
