\r\n Two outstanding alumni, Adlee bin Abdul Hamid from i-CATS University College (i-\r\nCATS UC) and Melvin Munan Anak Ingga from Sarawak Skills (Automotive and\r\nWelding Institute of Sarawak \u2013 AWISAR), have been selected to participate in a\r\nprestigious one-month industry training programme in China, taking place from 7\r\nApril to 7 May 2025.\r\n<\/div>

\r\nAnnounced during the 26th Sarawak Skills and i-CATS University College\r\nConvocation Ceremony, the industry training award sponsored by Foshan Feichi\r\nMotor Technology Company Limited recognises their exceptional achievements and\r\nstrong potential in the field of technical and vocational education and training\r\n(TVET). This initiative is part of Sarawak\u2019s broader commitment to nurturing a future-\r\nready workforce aligned with global advancements in green mobility and hydrogen\r\ntechnology.\r\n<\/div>

\r\nHighlighting the significance of this initiative, Mr. Hallman bin Sabri, Executive\r\nDirector of Sarawak Skills, stated: \u201cThis international exposure is a testament to our\r\ndedication in producing globally competitive, industry-relevant graduates. Adlee and\r\nMelvin exemplify the high standards we strive for at Sarawak Skills and i-CATS UC.\r\nTheir participation in this programme will not only enhance their technical capabilities\r\nbut also contribute meaningfully to Sarawak\u2019s ambitions in hydrogen technology and\r\nsustainable transport. We are confident they will return with valuable insights that will inspire others and strengthen our talent pool in key emerging industries.\u201d\r\n<\/div>

\r\nOver the course of the month, Adlee and Melvin will undergo intensive, hands-on\r\ntraining at several leading institutions and manufacturing facilities across China.\r\nTheir journey begins with an introduction to hydrogen technologies and system\r\nintegration at a hydrogen equipment manufacturer\u2019s factory. This is followed by\r\npractical and theoretical training on state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV)\r\nsystems\u2014including autonomous driving technology. The next phase includes an\r\nindustrial placement at the Foshan Feichi factory, where they will explore hydrogen-\r\npowered commercial vehicle production. Their programme concludes with in-depth\r\nexposure to the development and manufacturing of hydrogen fuel cell systems and\r\nstacks.\r\n<\/div><\/br>\r\n\r\n
