On 19 August 2023, the Sarawak Skills’ Strategic Engagement and Business Development Department organized a Team Building Camp at Libiki Bamboo Resort, Bau.

Led by Mr. Mohamad Isham bin Fauzi, Chief Commercial Officer (Strategic Engagement and Business Development), Sarawak Skills, the camp was a wonderful opportunity for staff members to hone various essential skills including communication, teamwork and survival skills.

Heartened by the active participation of staff members, comprising the multicultural mosaic of different cultures, races and religions (truly, a shining example of unity amidst diversity), we are pleased to share this poem “At One with Nature”.

Experiencing paradise first-hand – truly, one of the joys of life
A tranquil haven of peace and serenity
Away from the hustle and bustle of the city
An apt description of Libiki Bamboo Resort.

On arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles, a wonderful start to a new day
A special brand of hospitality awaited us, one of the hallmarks of Bidayuh culture
The opportunity to be at one with nature – precious and priceless
Mother Nature’s always beautiful – the flora and fauna, a true feast for the senses!

A day of team building activities surrounded by nature’s treasures
A fun-filled experience for all
Yes, we had to tap our individual wellsprings of creativity
The quest to hone essential skills – communication, teamwork, and survival skills.

The resort’s owner shared his recipe for making Ayam Pansuh
Chicken mixed with a harmonious blend of the choicest ingredients
Including tapioca leaves, lemongrass, ginger, bunga kantan and tepus
Cooked over an open fire in bamboo – a wonderful way to savour the bounty of the land!
