The Sarawak Skills’ Alumni Committee enables alumni of the Sarawak Skills Group of Institutions to maintain close ties with their alma mater.

The main functions of the Committee are as follows:

• Develop the Sarawak Skills’ alumni network;
• Plan and coordinate alumni activities, including alumni chapters across all campuses/learning centres;
• Manage the alumni database;
• Career Placement and Referral Centre for alumni and existing students;
• Lifelong learning (Upskilling/Reskilling/Multi-skilling);
• Manage Job database (to facilitate job search by alumni and existing students); and
• Organise Pre-Graduation Dinner.

Over the years, our alumni have participated actively in the transformation of the teaching and learning ecosystem across our campuses and learning centres. For example, many of our alumni are role models for our existing students – yes, they are beacons of inspiration for our students to strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives.

Through various programmes and joint initiatives, our alumni bring refreshing insights to the ‘world of work’ by participating in our Guest Speaker Series and sharing their professional expertise as Advisors and Career Mentors.
